Welcome to the Baird Family Page!
This year, as I move into my fabulous 50’s, I am reminded that I have so many vibrant and loving people in my life living with AIDS and I’m happy and grateful. Yes, I’m happy. People are living better lives due to better services, better care, and loved ones to be there. If my brother Edward had been able to hold out just a bit longer, maybe he’d be with us still, meeting my son, Ronan, doing Scouts with him, dancing with me and knowing that he would never have to walk alone. I know that when he passed, his heart was full of my love for him and that helps. It’s been 16 years, and I still rage, I still cry, but I still keep on!
This is why the AIDS Walk is so important to me. My family, my friends, my loved ones, those who’ve passed and those still with us. I want to do this walk with JOY IN MY HEART knowing we are all together in this. I ask that you join me in this walk this year by either supporting my walk financially, or stopping to think of those in our lives, with joy on October 23, 2016.
With Joy and Love, Thank You!
