REGISTER TO RUN!
Fill out this form to register as a runner- select "Runner" in Step 3 of the registration process.
Already registered to walk? Call us at 213.201.9255 (WALK) or email awlainfo@aidswalk.net to switch your registration to “runner”!
 
RAISE $250 OR MORE.
There is a $250 fundraising minimum to run. You can easily fundraise online – customize your fundraising web page, then reach out to your network. Check out the special new incentives being offered exclusively to our runners!
 

SIGN-IN INFORMATION FOR RUNNERS
Running bibs and any earned fundraising incentives must be picked up on one of the following dates:
  • Thursday, October 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at a location to be determined
  • Friday, October 13 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at a location to be determined
  • Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a location to be determined

REGISTRATION
  • How do I register for RUN! AIDS Walk Los Angeles?
    Register online here. You will be guided through the registration process. Select “Runner” during Step 3. 

    Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from awlainfo@aidswalk.net. This email will contain your password that you have selected. If you register by phone, mail, or fax and provide us with an email address, you will receive the same email with a temporary password if you have not selected one for yourself. Log in so you can update your profile information and personalize your page.
  • What if I am already registered as a walker?
    Call our office at 213.201.9255 (WALK) or email awlainfo@aidswalk.net to switch your registration to “Runner”!
     You will be required to review and complete a waiver, which we will be happy to send upon request.
  • Is there a fee to run?
    There is a fundraising minimum of $250 for runners. 
  • Is there an age requirement to run?
    No, all ages are welcome.
  • Is there an ability requirement to run?
    No, all abilities are welcome.
  • Is this a timed race?
    Yes, this is a timed race but not a chipped race. 

ROUTE
  • How long is the route for RUN! AIDS Walk Los Angeles?
    RUN! AIDS Walk Los Angeles is a 5-mile run taking place entirely in Downtown Los Angeles.
  • Where is the RUN! AIDS Walk Los Angeles start line?
    RUN! AIDS Walk Los Angeles will start on W 1st Street, between Spring Street and Broadway, adjacent to the historic Los Angeles Times Building.
  • Will there be snacks and water provided along the route?
    There will be 5 fluid stations along the Run route:
    Fluid Station #1: Located at the Run start line on W. 1st Street between Spring Street and Broadway.
    Fluid Station #2: Located on Olive Street between 8th and 9th Streets
    Fluid Station #3: Located on Main Street between 12th Street and Pico Blvd.
    Fluid Station #4: Located on Spring Street between 3rd and 4th Streets
    Fluid Station #5: Located at the Run finish line on Spring Street between Temple and First Streets.

SIGN-IN INFORMATION AND DAY-OF-EVENT DETAILS
  • When can I pick up my running bib?
    Bibs and earned fundraising awards must be picked up prior to Sunday, October 15. Bibs can be picked up at a location to be determined on the following dates and times:
    • Thursday, October 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • Friday, October 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Will there be a bag check available?
    Runner bag check will be located near the start line, on W 1st Street, between Spring Street and Broadway, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security. Clear drawstring bags will be available.
     
    Runners must have a running bib in order to check a bag.
    Runners must submit bag check tag when checking a bag.
    One bag per participant, please.
    Runner bag pick-up will be at a location to be determined and will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Runners must submit their bib when picking up a checked bag.
