Welcome to South Bay LGBT Center - 8723's Team Page
For the second year, the South Bay LGBT Center is participating in AIDS Walk Los Angeles. This is a 10K fundraising walk to fight the epidemic.
Since its inception in 1985, AIDS Walk Los Angeles has benefited AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), an AIDS service organization dedicated to: improving the lives of people (straight or gay) affected by HIV disease; reducing the incidence of HIV infection; and advocating for fair and effective HIV–related public policy. It is estimated that every 9 minutes someone in the U.S. is infected with HIV.
Please join us or donate today! Every dollar we raise helps APLA Health stop new infections and support people living with HIV/AIDS.
